Job description
The Opportunity: CACI is searching for a developer to support the Ames Research Center (ARC) applications on the NASA Consolidated Applications and Platform Services (NCAPS) contract. The candidate will be part of a team where complex problem solving and communication skills are critical to success.
Responsibilities:
• Design and develop software utilizing PHP, JavaScript, CSS, ColdFusion/Lucee (CFML), and automated scripting (cron jobs)
• Design and develop software utilizing SQL Server and MySQL
• Responsible for account provisioning
• Must understand and develop with 508 compliance in mind
• Collaborate within an Agile/Scrum team environment, participating in sprint planning, daily standups, and iterative delivery. Team will consider applicants from across the country with the understanding that the team operates on eastern time
• Partner with NASA Product Owners to gather and understand customer requirements, ensuring solutions align with mission needs and stakeholder expectations
Qualifications:
Required:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Management Systems or a related discipline. Equivalent professional experience will be considered in lieu of degree.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a NASA Public Trust background investigation
Desired:
• Experience providing development support on legacy applications
• Experience developing with modern Node.js, React, Python, JavaScript and .NET
• Experience with SharePoint site maintenance, Power Automate workflows, and basic Power Apps development.
• Prior experience working within the NASA environment or similar government organizations

There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:
