Summary
We are seeking a dynamic Inside Sales Development Representative to join our team in Canada. Based in North York, you will play a vital role in driving sales growth by engaging with customers and providing exceptional service. Primary Duties & Responsibilities
- Customer Communications & Order Handling
- Manage all inbound customer calls, emails, and live chats for GroundProMats.com.
- Respond promptly and professionally to all inquiries, providing clear and accurate information.
- Assist customers with product selection, quotations, order placement, shipping updates, and post-sale support.
- Sales Conversion & Revenue Growth
- Follow up on quotes and open opportunities to increase quote-to-sale conversion rates.
- Convert inbound leads into paying customers by providing product education, technical details, and alternative recommendations where needed.
- Reduce order cancellations and returns by ensuring customers select the best-fit product for their specific application.
- Reach out to potential customers to introduce our product offerings.
- Technical & Product Knowledge
- Develop and maintain a strong working knowledge of all products offered through GroundProMats.com.
- Confidently communicate product specifications, use cases, and compatibility details.
- Recommend substitutions or alternatives when specific products are unavailable or not ideal for the customer’s requirements.
- Cross-Departmental Collaboration
- Communicate frequently with the Marketing Team to share feedback about recurring customer questions, website issues, or missing product details.
- Support efforts to continually optimize the GroundProMats.com website to improve user experience and reduce redundant support requests.
- Coordinate with the Operations and Logistics Teams to ensure accurate order fulfillment and timely customer communication.
- Outbound Sales Responsibility (IronTread™ Mats)
- Generate outbound sales opportunities specifically for CTAM’s house brand, IronTread™ Ground Protection Mats, through direct outreach or cold calling to potential business customers.
- Maintain records of outbound efforts and report verified sales resulting directly from your outreach.
Performance Expectations
- Maintain a high level of responsiveness and professionalism across all communication channels.
- Achieve and maintain a consistent quote-to-sale conversion rate target as defined by management.
- Demonstrate proactive engagement with customers to ensure satisfaction and prevent unnecessary returns or cancellations.
- Regularly provide feedback and insights to management and marketing regarding trends, customer behavior, and product-related opportunities
- Qualifications & Desired Personality Traits:
- Familiarity with order processing, tracing and expediting, pricing structure
- Loves communicating with customers
- Required Experience/Education:
- High school diploma with a minimum of 1 years’ experience in a customer sales/ service environment.
- Must have an excellent command of the English language. Ability to speak French is consider a good asset

Pay: $22.00-$30.00 per hour
