As part of our continued expansion in healthcare education, we are launching a Pharmacy Assistant Certificate Program designed to provide flexible online self-paced learning combined with instructor-led training to prepare students with practical, job-ready skills for the Canadian pharmacy sector.

About Role :

As the Curriculum Developer, you will play a key role in designing and developing high-quality academic content for the Pharmacy Assistant Program. The program will be delivered through a blended model consisting of:

  • Online Self-Paced Learning
  • Instructor-Led Live Sessions

You will work closely with the leadership team to create engaging, industry-aligned, and student-focused learning materials that support both theoretical understanding and practical pharmacy skills development.

Key Responsibilities :

Curriculum & Academic Content Development

  • Develop weekly lesson plans aligned with program learning outcomes
  • Create quizzes, assignments, case studies, and evaluation tools
  • Design structured self-paced online learning modules
  • Develop student reading materials, learning guides, and reference content
  • Create scripts, concepts, and outlines for interactive learning videos and presentations
  • Organize course content within the Learning Management System (LMS)

Instructional Design & Learning Experience

  • Develop engaging and interactive learning experiences suitable for adult learners
  • Structure content for combination of self-paced and instructor-led delivery model
  • Create practical pharmacy workflow scenarios and simulated learning activities
  • Ensure curriculum reflects current Canadian pharmacy practices and industry expectations
  • Support development of KROLL pharmacy software training concepts

Program Development & Quality Assurance

  • Participate in curriculum review and continuous improvement processes
  • Collaborate with instructors and academic management to maintain academic quality standards
  • Ensure consistency, accuracy, and professionalism across all academic materials
  • Assist in building academic systems, templates, rubrics, and instructional resources for the program

Qualifications

  • Registered Pharmacy Technician with the Ontario College of Pharmacists
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience as a Pharmacy Technician in a retail, community, or hospital pharmacy setting
  • Minimum 3+ years of teaching, training, or curriculum development experience in the pharmacy field
  • Strong understanding of Canadian pharmacy practices and regulations
  • Excellent communication and teaching skills
  • Comfortable using online platforms (Zoom, LMS )
