Apprentice Terminal Operators - Terminal Facility - Coraopolis, PA

Apprentice Terminal Operators at Buckeye Partners play a vital role in supporting the safe and efficient operation of terminal, pipeline, marine, and rail assets. This position offers the opportunity to learn and develop skills in the Oil & Gas industry, working with a premier infrastructure and logistics provider. Ideal candidates are mechanically inclined, safety-focused, and eager to grow within a collaborative, people-first culture.

What You’ll Need

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • 0-2+ years related experience in terminal, pipeline or marine operations preferred
  • Valid driver’s license required
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and analytical skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and commitment to safety
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, climb ladders (up to 50 feet), and work at heights
  • Ability to wear Fire Retardant Clothing (FRC) and/or Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
  • Compliance with DOT drug and alcohol regulations
  • Ability to work overtime, weekends, holidays, and be on-call as needed
  • Ability to work independently with little to no supervision

What Will Make You Stand Out

  • General understanding of equipment and maintenance of pumps, meters, truck loading rack, and dock facility
  • Inventory control and/or accounting background
  • Familiarity with computerized inventory control systems and truck rack automation systems
  • Hazwoper/Respirator certification
  • Experience in the petroleum industry
