Job Description
Hatch seeks a Contracts Specialist to join their team, focusing on capital projects within an EPCM environment. This position requires onsite engagement five days a week over a 12-month contract.
You will play a crucial role in Hatch’s Project Delivery Group, managing the entire lifecycle of construction and service contracts. The ideal candidate should bring substantial experience in contract formation and administration, as well as strong negotiation skills to facilitate effective contract management. Your expertise will assist in the development and implementation of strategies aligned with project needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Involved from planning to project close-out of construction contracts
- Implement strategies directed by the Contracts Manager
- Mentor other contract specialists on best practices
- Oversee the RFP process and contractor communication
- Manage changes relating to cost and time for contracts
Requirements
- BA/BS degree in relevant field
- 12+ years’ experience in contract management
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
- Understanding of procurement governance principles
- Familiarity with SmartPlant Materials preferred
