The successful candidate will support the Operations team and clients as a subject matter expert, supporting the interpretation of regulatory requirements, the design of reporting solutions and the resolution of complex technical and data-related queries across a range of client and internal initiatives and client onboardings.
While the role includes responsibility for client onboarding, implementation projects and regulatory change delivery, its primary focus is on providing technical leadership and analytical oversight across regulatory reporting requirements.

- Monitor project progress, escalate risks and issues where required, and support timely delivery against agreed timelines.
- Serve as a technical SME across regulatory reporting requirements, with particular focus on PRIIPs, KIIDs, EMT, EPT, EET, MiFID, Solvency II, AIFMD and CCI etc.
- Analyse and interpret regulatory requirements, client needs and data specifications, translating them into clear implementation requirements and reporting solutions.
- Review reporting methodologies, data inputs and outputs to ensure regulatory deliverables are accurate, complete and aligned to applicable standards.
- Support the resolution of complex technical and data-related queries, providing subject matter expertise to clients and internal stakeholders.
- Identify gaps, risks and dependencies within reporting frameworks, onboarding requirements and implementation approaches.
- Contribute to the design and enhancement of reporting processes, controls and documentation to support high-quality regulatory output.
- Act as a key point of contact for technical discussions with clients, administrators and internal teams, providing clear guidance on regulatory reporting requirements and expected deliverables.
- Responsible for day-to-day management and motivation of staff, providing expertise, training and daily support. Develop and coach the team through goal setting, regular one to one and performance reviews.
The Person
Newly qualified accountant with 2-3 years post qualification experience, or significant relevant experience in a similar role.
- Audit/Operational Risk experience not essential but preferable.
- Strong experience in regulatory reporting, client onboarding, implementation or project delivery within financial services.
- Good working knowledge of PRIIPs, KIIDs, EMT, EPT, EET, MiFID, Solvency II, AIFMD and CCI requirements.
- Proven ability to manage projects independently from initiation to completion.
- Strong analytical, organisational and stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent Excel and data analysis capability.
- High attention to detail and a professional, client-focused approach.
