The Role:-

We are looking for a forward-thinking Audio Engineer & Music Faculty member. This dual-role requires a "Musician-Engineer" who can design high-end music tracks, coach senior vocalists with patience, and masterfully blend traditional engineering with modern AI audio tools. When not in production, you will lead the next generation of Multimedia students in mastering the modern sound landscape.

Core Responsibilities:-

1. Music Production & Vocal Direction

• Custom Sound Design: Compose and arrange original backing tracks that capture the soul of Bengali & Hindi classics (moving beyond simple AI generation to bespoke production).
• Vocal Production: Use Piano/Keyboard proficiency to guide a non-professional senior vocalist through melody and pitch during recording.
• Expert Polishing: Execute advanced vocal tuning (VariAudio), mixing, and mastering in Cubase Pro to achieve a commercial-grade finish.

2. AI Integration & Innovation

• AI-Enhanced Workflow: Leverage cutting-edge AI tools for stem separation, noise restoration, and tonal transfer to enhance vintage-style recordings.
• Future-Proofing: Utilize AI-assisted mixing and mastering suites (e.g., iZotope, Neural DSP) to optimize production efficiency and sonic depth.

3. Academic Instruction

• Pedagogy: Teach UG and PG students the fundamentals of Sound Engineering, Sound Design for Media, and the ethical/practical use of AI in music.
• Mentorship: Supervise studio practicals and multimedia projects within the Media Department.

Technical Profile:-

• Engineering: Mastery of Steinberg Cubase Pro and professional signal chains.
• Musicianship: Ability to play Piano/Keyboard to assist vocalists and compose arrangements.
• AI Expertise: Deep knowledge of modern AI audio tools (e.g., for restoration, synthesis, and intelligent EQ/Dynamics).
• Cultural Fit: Deep appreciation for Bengali "Adhunik" music and the patience to work with high-profile, non-professional talent.

Qualifications:-

• Master’s degree is prefered.
• A portfolio showcasing both traditional engineering and AI-assisted production.
• Excellent communication skills for a classroom environment.
