This role is ideal for an analytically minded marketer who enjoys solving ambiguous problems, investigating user behavior, and communicating findings to both technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
Responsibilities

- Analyze customer journeys, engagement patterns, conversion funnels, and page-level performance.
- Design, monitor, and evaluate A/B tests and other web experiments.
- Use web analytics and behavioral analytics platforms to investigate usability, engagement, and conversion behavior.
- Produce recurring reports covering website engagement, session patterns, funnel performance, and emerging trends.
- Translate loosely defined stakeholder questions into structured analytical plans.
- Conduct ad hoc investigations to identify performance issues, behavioral gaps, and optimization opportunities.
- Partner with marketing, web, product, and operations stakeholders to establish measurement requirements and success metrics.
- Analyze the relationship between web traffic, lead sources, and downstream sales-funnel performance.
- Develop dashboards, data summaries, and written recommendations that make complex findings accessible to leadership.
- Monitor analytics data for outages, anomalies, tracking issues, or unexpected performance changes.
- Document measurement approaches, findings, and repeatable reporting processes.
Qualifications
- 5–7+ years of experience in web analytics, digital analytics, marketing analytics, or a closely related field.
- Advanced experience with Google Analytics or a comparable web analytics platform.
- Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, formulas, and data manipulation.
- Strong understanding of website engagement, conversion rates, click-through rates, customer journeys, and funnel analysis.
- Demonstrated experience designing and evaluating A/B tests.
- Working knowledge of statistical concepts such as significance, confidence intervals, sample size, and statistical power.
- Ability to turn ambiguous business questions into structured analytical approaches.
- Experience supporting marketing, growth, ecommerce, or web experience teams.
- Ability to translate raw data into concise, actionable recommendations.
- Strong written, verbal, and data-storytelling skills.
- Ability to independently prioritize work across multiple stakeholders and concurrent requests.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with FullStory or another behavioral or session analytics platform.
- Proficiency with SQL and experience querying large datasets.
- Experience with Power BI, Tableau, Looker, or another business-intelligence platform.
- Experience with Optimizely, LaunchDarkly, Ninetailed, or a similar experimentation platform.
- Familiarity with SEO analytics, ecommerce analytics, or authenticated customer experiences.
- Experience analyzing web-generated leads and sales-funnel performance.
- Experience supporting technology, developer-focused, or other complex digital products.
