Porter- Beverage Dept

The Porter for the Beverage Department works collaboratively with Bartenders and Bar Back staff to maintain an exceptional bar environment. This position is essential to ensuring operational efficiency and maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and organization.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Execute all assigned tasks in a timely manner in accordance with departmental standards and procedures.
• Maintain the cleanliness, organization, and professional appearance of the assigned bar area.
• Perform washing, sanitization, and polishing of glassware, bar equipment, and fixtures to ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
• Execute floor maintenance, including mopping and general sanitation of the bar area.
• Manage removal of empty bottles and disposal of waste materials in accordance with established protocols.
• Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of cleaning supplies and chemicals, including proper handling, storage, and safe usage requirements.
• Execute additional duties and special projects as assigned by management.
• Maintain a professional demeanor and appearance that reflects positively on Ameristar Casino Kansas City at all times.
• Adhere to all safety rules, regulations, and best practices while promoting a culture of safety among team members.
