Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Manual Machine Operator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating manual machines to produce end product. Your mechanical knowledge will ensure that products meet strict quality standards. This position works with CNC lathes, milling machines, and other precision tools, in a fast-paced environment committed to excellence and continuous improvement.

*This is a first shift position. There will be a basic math skills test as part of the interview process* Pay depending on experience**

Duties

Set up and operate manual machining equipment such as CNC lathes, mills, and grinders to produce product according to technical specifications.
Read and interpret detailed job cards, GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) drawings, and technical documents to ensure accurate manufacturing processes.
Use precision measuring instruments like calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, and coordinate measuring machines to verify dimensions and tolerances.
Maintain proper tooling, fixtures, and tooling setups; perform routine maintenance on machinery to ensure optimal operation.
Conduct quality inspections utilizing precision measuring instruments; document inspection results accurately.
Follow lean manufacturing principles to optimize workflow, reduce waste, and improve efficiency across production processes.
Adhere to safety protocols at all times; operate forklifts for material handling within the manufacturing environment.

Experience

Proven experience operating manual machining equipment such as CNC lathes, mills, or grinders in a manufacturing setting.
Mechanical aptitude with experience in machining, assembly, and welding
Ability to use precision measurement tools including calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, and coordinate measuring machines confidently.
Basic math skills necessary for measurements and calculations related to machining tolerances.
Prior experience working with power tools, hand tools, tooling setups, and safety procedures in a manufacturing environment.

Pay: From $20.00 per hour
