Boeing is seeking an Entry-Level Software Engineer, Signals Intelligence to join the Argon ST - Signals Intelligence team in Fairfax, Virginia. In this role, you will support the Boeing Defense, Space & Security Software Engineering organization by developing cutting-edge SIGINT software solutions that intercept RF signals, process data, and deliver critical insights.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the design, development, and maintenance of high-quality software applications for SIGINT products using React, TypeScript, and/or Java.
- Contribute to back-end services primarily developed in Java to ensure seamless integration and functionality.
- Document and maintain software architectures, requirements, algorithms, interfaces, and designs.
- Solve complex problems with innovative solutions while maintaining a strong attention to detail.
- Participate actively in Agile development processes and the full software development lifecycle.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues to ensure the reliability and efficiency of software products.
Required Qualifications
- Experience with Java, JavaScript, or C++.
- Understanding of data structures, algorithms, concurrency, and core software engineering principles.
- Proficiency in using git version control.
- Strong skills in technical troubleshooting, debugging, and optimization.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or a related field.
- Experience with React and TypeScript.
- Familiarity with Agile software development processes.
- Signals Intelligence (SIGINT) system experience.
- Current Top Secret SCI clearance.
- Willingness to travel as needed (less than 10%).
