The Opportunity
We are seeking a High Net Worth Personal Lines Account Manager to join our growing team. This role is ideal for a service-driven insurance professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a strong understanding of complex personal risk exposures.
You will manage a portfolio of affluent and retail clients, providing tailored insurance solutions across high-value homes, luxury automobiles, secondary residences, collectibles, and more. This position requires a consultative mindset, strong relationship-building skills, and the ability to deliver a white-glove client experience.
This role will start at the beginning of August.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with retail and high-net-worth clients through proactive, concierge-level service
- Conduct comprehensive coverage reviews and provide strategic insurance advice tailored to complex risk profiles
- Manage policy renewals, remarketing, and endorsements with accuracy and efficiency
- Collaborate closely with producers, insurers, and underwriting partners to deliver customized solutions
- Advocate for clients and guide them through the claims process with professionalism and care.
- Maintain accurate, defensible broker notes across all client interactions —
advice given, coverages offered, coverages declined
- Identify and act on account rounding and cross-sell opportunities within the
existing book
- Escalate complex or sensitive matters to the VP of Private Client Practice
appropriately — not as a default, but when genuinely warranted
Qualifications & Experience
- Active RIBO License (required)
- Proven ability to manage complex accounts and deliver exceptional client service
- Strong negotiation, influencing, and relationship management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Proficiency with MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) Google, and brokerage management systems (Acturis, Applied Rating Services)
- Self-motivated, results-driven, and committed to professional growth
