Event Operations Lead

Our client located in downtown Toronto is looking for an Event Operations Lead to add to their team.

In this role, you will be responsible to:

• Oversee all aspects of event and meeting planning and execution.
• Manage catering, logistics, and vendor relationships.
• Supervise, train, and coach team members.
• Ensure high standards of service and client satisfaction.
• Manage supplies and inventory.
• Liaise and coordinate with suppliers and external vendors
• Support travel programs and other administrative tasks.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• University Degree or College Diploma in Business or Hospitality.
• 5+ years of experience in event management and client service.
• Previous experience working in a professional services firm
• 3+ years of supervisory experience.
• Strong project management skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects
• Flexibility to work between the hours of 7:30am to 6:00pm when required.
