- Ensure accuracy, completeness, and integrity of all migrated financial records.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify and resolve data discrepancies during migration.
- Invoicing & Collections:
- Prepare and issue customer invoices in a timely manner (one invoicing cycle per month).
- Monitor accounts receivable and proactively follow up on outstanding balances.
- Coordinate with clients to resolve billing issues and ensure prompt collections.
- Vendor Invoice Processing:
- Review, code, and process vendor invoices for payment.
- Maintain accurate records of accounts payable transactions.
- Communicate with vendors to address discrepancies or queries.
- Record payment on invoices as either prepaid expenses where appropriate and amortize to income statement over the life of the service period.
- Month-End Close:
- Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, and adjustments as needed.
- Reconcile general ledger accounts and ensure financial statements are accurate and timely.
- Assist with internal and external audits as required.
- Statutory Reporting:
- Prepare and file required financial reports in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Support tax filings and coordinate with external tax advisors as necessary.
EXPERIENCE YOU'LL NEED:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or equivalent certification preferred.
- Proven experience handling end-to-end accounting functions, including invoicing, collections, payables, and reporting.
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems and data migration projects.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and statutory reporting requirements.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining data integrity.
