Lead, Corporate Partnerships
Location: Ontario (Remote)
Our Client:
Is a leading not-for-profit organization dedicated to increasing access to justice across Ontario.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and build a new corporate pro bono program focused on engaging corporate and commercial lawyers to respond legal needs.
- Develop and execute strategies to recruit, engage, and retain volunteer lawyers and law firms.
- Create structured, high-impact volunteer opportunities (e.g. clinics, advisory services, short-form engagements).
- Act as a primary ambassador for the organization within the corporate legal law community.
- Support volunteer engagement, including triage of legal needs and guidance on appropriate legal matters.
- Track impact, contribute to reporting, and support continuous program improvement.
Qualifications
- LL.B or J.D. and/or called to the Ontario bar.
- 2-3 years of experience in corporate law or relevant legal practice.
- Strong understanding of the corporate legal environment and law firm dynamics.
- Demonstrated ability in business development, relationship management, or stakeholder engagement.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and build a program from the ground up.
- Proficient with the MS Office suite and comfort with learning new technology.
