Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will manage workflows, streamline processes, and keep stakeholders aligned while supporting the Bill of Rights Institute's mission to advance civic education nationwide. To succeed as the Marketing Projects Manager, you should have:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Advertising, Public Relations, or a related field, with 2-5 years of experience in marketing, communications, project management, agency account management, campaign coordination, or a similar role.
- Exceptional organizational and project management skills, with a demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, maintain attention to detail, and consistently deliver projects on time in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams, facilitate stakeholder alignment, and build productive working relationships.
- Proficiency with project management and productivity tools, including Monday.com (or similar platforms), Microsoft Office, and Google Workspace, with the ability to maintain workflows, timelines, and project documentation.
- Experience supporting marketing campaigns, content planning, or creative workflows is highly desirable; experience in a nonprofit, education, or other mission-driven organization is a plus.
Your responsibilities as the Marketing Projects Manager will include:
- Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of marketing and communications campaigns, managing timelines, milestones, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure projects are delivered on schedule and aligned with organizational priorities.
- Own and maintain BRI's marketing workflow systems, including the Master Editorial & Content Calendar, Marketing Intake Board, and campaign planning tools, providing visibility into upcoming initiatives and balancing competing priorities across teams.
- Manage the end-to-end marketing request process, reviewing project briefs, prioritizing work with leadership, tracking progress, facilitating stakeholder feedback, and ensuring all deliverables are ready for seamless execution.
- Drive project management excellence across the Marketing & Communications team, maintaining documentation, monitoring team capacity, producing status reports, and continuously improving processes, templates, and operational workflows.
- Serve as a trusted partner to departments across the organization, coordinating communications, supporting event-related marketing needs, managing vendor relationships, and helping ensure all marketing efforts are strategically aligned, consistent, and impactful.
