Cloud DevOps Specialist (Azure) (India)

Key Responsibilities

• Azure Architecture & Engineering
• Design, build, and optimize scalable solutions on Microsoft Azure.
• Provide deep technical guidance across Azure services (VMs, Networking, AKS, Storage, AAD, Key Vault, Functions, App Services, etc.).
• Infrastructure as Code & Automation
• Build and manage infrastructure using Terraform (preferred) and other IaC tools.
• Write reusable modules, enforce coding standards, and implement automated deployments (CI/CD).
• Debugging & Troubleshooting
• Resolve complex issues across networking, compute, identity, storage, and platform services.
• Perform root cause analysis for incidents and implement preventive measures.
• DevOps & Continuous Delivery
• Implement and support CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or equivalent).
• Ensure security, compliance, and reliability are embedded in delivery pipelines.
• Collaboration & Leadership
• Mentor engineers and developers on cloud best practices.
• Partner with stakeholders to design cloud-native solutions aligned with business needs.
• Continuous Learning
• Stay up-to-date with Azure updates, DevOps trends, and cloud-native innovations.
• Contribute to knowledge sharing and internal technical communities.

Required Qualifications

• 5 + years Hands-on expertise in Azure cloud services, architecture, and operations.
• Strong Infrastructure as Code (IaC) background with Terraform (mandatory).
• Experience in debugging and resolving complex Azure service issues.
• Proficiency in one or more scripting/programming languages (PowerShell, Python, Bash, etc.).
• Solid understanding of cloud security, governance, and compliance.
• Expertise with Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or similar CI/CD tools.
• Active learner with strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Must hold at least one Azure-related DevOps certification, such as:
• Microsoft Certified: Azure DevOps Engineer Expert
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate

Preferred Qualifications

• Multi-cloud experience (AWS, GCP) in addition to Azure.
• Experience with Kubernetes (AKS) and containerization.
• Strong background in observability, monitoring, and performance tuning.
• Previous experience in a Principal/Lead Engineer or Architect-level role.
