Infrastructure / Platform Engineer

We are looking for a strong Infrastructure/Platform Engineer who has built and scaled production systems from scratch and through multiple growth stages (01/10/100). This role requires someone who is still deeply hands-on with engineering, not just managing infrastructure teams. You will be responsible for building scalable infrastructure, improving reliability, and enabling engineering teams to ship faster and safer.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and scale cloud infrastructure and internal developer platforms from early-stage to large-scale systems.
• Own infrastructure architecture, reliability, observability, and deployment pipelines.
• Build systems that scale from initial product launch to high-traffic production workloads.
• Improve deployment velocity, CI/CD pipelines, and developer experience.
• Design high availability, failover strategies, monitoring, and incident management frameworks.
• Build and maintain platform tooling, automation, and infrastructure-as-code frameworks.
• Work closely with product and engineering teams to ensure performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Lead infra decisions during scaling phases (traffic spikes, data growth, and system complexity).

Requirements

• 6-12+ years of experience in infrastructure, platform engineering, or SRE roles.
• Experience scaling systems through multiple growth phases ().
• Strong hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS / GCP / Azure).
• Deep expertise in containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines and developer platforms.
• Strong understanding of distributed systems, scalability, and system reliability.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Pulumi, CloudFormation).
• Hands-on coding ability in Go / Python / Java for building infra tools and automation.
• Strong knowledge of monitoring and observability (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, ELK).

Nice to Have

• Experience building internal developer platforms (IDP).
• Experience with high-scale systems (millions of requests/day)
• Prior experience in high-growth startups.
• Experience handling large-scale incidents, system migrations, or architecture rebuilds.
