Overview
Join our legal team as an Entry Level Paralegal specializing in Workers' Compensation law! Position is available for someone with at least 1 year but less than 2 years experience in Workers' Compensation
Duties
- Assist Attorneys with legal billing on a daily basis
- Support attorneys with organizing, reviewing and summarizing medical records
- Scheduling of exams, drafting medical history correspondence
- Filing Motions/pleadings
- Maintaining legal diaries
- Completion of attorney transcription
- When required, Assist with administrative tasks including data entry and filing
Skills
- Understanding of Workers' Compensation law
- Proficient in legal drafting, proofreading, transcription, and document review processes
- Ability to provide administrative support including calendar management and correspondence handling
- Exceptional written communication skills paired with professional phone etiquette and clerical experience
- Demonstrated ability to manage data entry tasks accurately while maintaining meticulous attention to detail
