Who You Are & What You'll Do
We’re looking for a creative and detail-oriented junior Content Creator & Digital Marketing Coordinator to support our marketing team in executing engaging, high-quality content across digital channels. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone early in their career who is eager to grow, experiment, and build strong content and marketing skills in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Support the creation and scheduling of content across social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Reddit, TikTok) and blog
- Assist in producing engaging content including captions, visuals, and short-form video aligned with brand guidelines
- Monitor and engage with online communities, comments, and messages
- Help track and report on performance metrics such as engagement, reach, and website traffic
- Support the coordination and execution of marketing campaigns (content, timelines, launches)
- Assist with email marketing campaigns including newsletters and promotions
- Stay up to date with social media trends and suggest content ideas
- Participate in occasional event coverage and assist with capturing real-time content
- Be comfortable appearing on camera for social media content when needed
- Explore and use AI tools (e.g., for captions, ideation, editing) to support content creation
What You Bring
- 0–2 years of experience in content creation, social media, or digital marketing (internships count)
- Degree or diploma in Marketing, Communications, Media, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
- Strong interest in social media and content creation, with a good understanding of major platforms
- Basic content creation skills (writing captions, filming/editing simple videos, creating visuals)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
- Organized and able to manage multiple tasks with guidance
- Eagerness to learn, take feedback, and grow within a team
- Comfortable working in person from Mississauga, Hamilton, or Toronto
Bonus Skills (Nice-to-Have)
- Experience creating content for personal or brand accounts (portfolio or samples encouraged)
- Familiarity with tools like Canva, CapCut, or Adobe Creative Suite
- Basic understanding of analytics tools (e.g., Instagram insights, Google Analytics)
- Exposure to email marketing platforms (e.g., Mailchimp, HubSpot)
- Interest in wellness, mental health, or purpose-driven brands
- Comfort experimenting with AI tools for content creation
Compensation
BeWell Health Centers offer a range of competitive compensation consistent with your level of credentialing. This role will be based off a salaried role for full-time or hourly for part-time.
