Job Description
Bestgate Wealth Advisors is seeking a Senior Tax Accountant for our Frederick Maryland office. Our firm provides comprehensive financial planning to individuals and business owners with a strong focus on tax planning. Our goal is to develop a role around talented professionals that provides the work/life balance that they desire. We are open to alternative/part-time work schedules.
Bestgate places a strong emphasis on maintaining a positive work environment and office culture. Regular team lunches and annual company trips help us to achieve this goal.
Primary Responsibilities
- Preparing business tax returns
- Reviewing individual tax returns
- Preparing/Reviewing tax projections
- Supporting the tax and financial planning process
Qualifications
· Bachelor’s Degree in business (Accounting Preferred)
· CPA or EA preferred (not required)
· 3+ years CPA firm experience
· Emphasis on closely held business clients is a plus
Pay: $70,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
