1. Role Overview

We are hiring for a Manager Customer Support / Senior Customer Support Engineer to support semiconductor manufacturing and automation equipment. The role involves handling customer support activities, troubleshooting equipment issues, and managing field service operations. Candidates with team management experience may take responsibility for leading support engineers and driving service delivery activities.

  • Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical and customer support for semiconductor manufacturing equipment
  • Handle troubleshooting and issue resolution for equipment and process-related challenges
  • Perform field service activities including installation, maintenance, and commissioning support
  • Support preventive and corrective maintenance programs
  • Coordinate with customers to ensure timely service delivery and issue closure
  • Maintain service reports and technical documentation
  • Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and automation-related issues
  • Work closely with engineering teams for escalations and technical support
  • Manage customer communication and support activities
  • Lead and guide support engineers where applicable
  • Monitor team performance and allocate field service activities
  • Support process improvement and operational efficiency initiatives
  • Bachelor's Degree / Diploma in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Instrumentation, Electronics, or related Engineering disciplines
  • 4 -10 years of experience in Semiconductor Equipment Support, Field Service, or Industrial Automation environments
  • Semiconductor industry experience preferred; candidates from advanced industrial automation backgrounds may also be considered
  • Prior team handling experience preferred for Manager-level candidates
  • Semiconductor manufacturing process knowledge
