IT Specialist - Network and Support 💰 Salary: $95,000 - 135,000 per year

📝 Rquirements:

• Associate degree in Computer Science or a related field
• Top-Secret/SCI clearance required for one position
• Secret clearance required for another position
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
• Ability to provide excellent customer service

👩‍💻👨‍💻 Your responsibilities are:

• Act as a systems support specialist for the East Asian and Pacific Affairs (EAP) bureau
• Provide general IT and administrative assistance to a team of six supporting EAPs 270 domestic users
• Offer help desk support for non-consolidated IT services
• Support, troubleshoot, and manage inventory for mobile devices including phones, tablets, and laptops
• Provide ad hoc user support for Windows workstations, laptops, tablets, and smartphones
• Install and maintain computer hardware such as monitors, printers, and desks
• Deliver basic user training on Microsoft Windows, Office 365, and other applications
• Assist with digital video conferencing and secure phone technologies
• Liaise with the Bureau of Diplomatic Technology (DT) for consolidated IT services
• Coordinate DT services for EAP domestic offices and personnel at 47 overseas locations
• Stay updated on technology trends relevant to EAPs mission
• Recommend upgrades and advancements in technology and equipment purchases
• Serve as a backup SharePoint Administrator
• Assist in setting up and cleaning up conference rooms and official office events
• Support annual IT asset inventory and conduct spot checks
