Salesforce Developer

Benchmark Recruitment is hiring on behalf of our client for a Salesforce Developer. In this role, you'll have the opportunity to design, develop, and support critical Salesforce systems, and the broader ecosystem. You will guide a cross functional development team and collaborate closely with Product Owners, Solution Architects, and business stakeholders to deliver high quality, scalable solutions. You will play a key role in defining technical direction, leading development efforts, and ensuring systems perform reliably in production.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high quality software in an efficient and scalable manner
• Provide technical leadership across a multidisciplinary team including developers, QA, and DevOps
• Design and develop solutions using APEX, SOQL, Java, SQL, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
• Conduct code reviews and promote best practices in software development
• Lead and mentor team members in both technical and process related areas
• Translate business requirements into technical solutions in collaboration with Product Owners
• Partner with QA, DevOps, and Solution Architects to ensure quality and reliability in production
• Lead Agile development practices including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospectives
• Stay current with Salesforce platform capabilities and identify opportunities to enhance systems and processes
• Support ongoing system maintenance and troubleshooting
• Participate in occasional after hours support for critical production issues

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Computer Science or a related field
• 5 plus years of software development experience, with a strong focus on Salesforce
• 3 plus years working in Agile development environments
