  • Build and maintain health and fitness focused mobile applications integrating with HealthKit and wearable devices.
  • Structure complex, data rich UIs that visualize large streams of health and biometric data in a clean and intuitive way.
  • Design and build charts and data displays that are both highly functional and visually polished.
  • Integrate with wearable hardware to support real time health monitoring for flight crew.
  • Apply data security and privacy best practices including Keychain, encrypted storage, and secure handling of sensitive health and biometric data.
  • Collaborate with senior engineers and designers to deliver precise, reliable, and visually compelling mobile experiences.
  • Participate in code reviews and follow established iOS best practices and architectural patterns.
  • Help ensure code quality, performance, and maintainability through testing and documentation.

WHAT WILL MAKE YOU SUCCESSFUL

  • 3+ years of experience developing iOS applications, or equivalent experience through internships, projects, or coursework.
  • Experience with Swift and SwiftUI, with some exposure to UIKit and common iOS frameworks.
  • Hands on experience with HealthKit and building fitness or health wearable applications.
  • Strong eye for design with the ability to structure complex UIs and translate large datasets into clear and compelling visual interfaces.
  • Experience building charts, dashboards, or data visualizations within iOS applications.
  • Understanding of iOS data security and privacy practices including Keychain, encrypted storage, and secure handling of sensitive health and biometric data.
  • Familiarity with asynchronous programming concepts such as async/await, multithreading, or GCD.
  • Strong problem solving skills and eagerness to learn from feedback and mentorship.
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, fast moving environment.

Bonus Points

  • Passion for aviation and a desire to improve flight safety and crew wellbeing.
  • Experience working on safety critical or mission critical systems.
