Job Description
As a Digital Technology Senior Specialist for Baker Hughes, you will be responsible for leading quality strategy and execution across complex software systems. The role combines hands-on testing expertise, automation excellence, team leadership, and strong cross-functional collaboration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strong collaboration with engineering, product, and DevOps teams
- Influencing quality practices and standards across teams
To be successful in this role you will:
- Have strong expertise in functional testing, test strategy, and test planning
- Have 10+ years of experience in software quality assurance and testing
- Have hands-on experience with UI and backend test automation
- Have proficiency in Java, Selenium, and BDD frameworks (e.g., Cucumber)
- Have experience with performance and non-functional testing
- Have the ability to design, maintain, and optimize multiple test suites (smoke, regression, E2E)
- Have leadership experience mentoring QA engineers and driving quality ownership
- Have the ability to identify quality risks early and drive preventive testing approaches
- Nice-to-have: CI/CD integration, test data management, and quality metrics
