Digital Technology Senior Specialist - Quality Assurance Engineering

As a Digital Technology Senior Specialist for Baker Hughes, you will be responsible for leading quality strategy and execution across complex software systems. The role combines hands-on testing expertise, automation excellence, team leadership, and strong cross-functional collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:

• Strong collaboration with engineering, product, and DevOps teams
• Influencing quality practices and standards across teams

To be successful in this role you will:

• Have strong expertise in functional testing, test strategy, and test planning
• Have 10+ years of experience in software quality assurance and testing
• Have hands-on experience with UI and backend test automation
• Have proficiency in Java, Selenium, and BDD frameworks (e.g., Cucumber)
• Have experience with performance and non-functional testing
• Have the ability to design, maintain, and optimize multiple test suites (smoke, regression, E2E)
• Have leadership experience mentoring QA engineers and driving quality ownership
• Have the ability to identify quality risks early and drive preventive testing approaches
• Nice-to-have: CI/CD integration, test data management, and quality metrics
