Job Description
As part of the Visualization Centre of Excellence (CoE) at Bain Capability Network (BCN), you will play a crucial role in providing data analytics and business intelligence support to global Bain case teams, Bain Partners, and end-clients using advanced data analysis and visualization tools. Your responsibilities will include:
- Working as part of the customer success team of one of the Bain products, delivering custom insights to users, leading client discovery, solutioning, and demo sessions
- Collaborating with Bain teams or end-clients as an expert on specific platforms/tools/languages (SQL/Python, etc.) to deliver impactful insights
- Applying knowledge of data analysis languages like SQL, Python to support case teams with KPI analysis and process automation
- Supporting client onboarding, training, and implementation in coordination with internal teams
- Translating client use cases into product configurations, feasibility, and value analysis
- Troubleshooting data/portal issues and acting as a liaison between clients and product/engineering
- Ensuring a high-quality experience for clients throughout the full lifecycle
- Analyzing and automating the processing of large and complex datasets and processes
- Ensuring scalability and maintainability of data analysis processes and codes; preparing documentation for further reference
- Delivering client-facing and internal leadership presentations as needed
- Working under the guidance of a Team Lead/Team Manager/Sr. Team Manager to drive the teams overall answer, final materials, client communication, work planning, and team management
- Assigning work streams to Analysts, monitoring workload, and providing technical expertise to junior team members when required
- Leading client/case team calls, communicating data, knowledge, insights, and actionable next steps to the case team, and relaying implications to the internal team
Qualifications required for this role:
- Graduate/Post-Graduate from a top-tier college with strong academic records and 3-4 years of relevant work experience in client-facing roles related to Data Management, Business Intelligence, or Business Analytics
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in Data Analysis and automations using platforms such as SQL
- Proficiency in SQL, databases such as Snowflake, Redshift, writing queries, and ticketing systems like Zendesk, JIRA
- Advanced skills in Excel modeling, slide-making, and data handling
- Excellent oral and written communication skills for effective communication with both technical and non-technical senior stakeholders
- Concentration in a quantitative discipline such as Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or Market Research is preferred
- Ability to prioritize projects, manage multiple competing priorities, and drive projects to completion under tight deadlines
- Motivated, collaborative team player with a role-model attitude and a proactive individual within the team and office
Good to have skills:
- Experience with BI tools such as PowerBI
- Experience with Python is a plus
- Understanding of database architecture, data modeling, and data warehousing principles
- Advanced certifications in Snowflake will be preferred
