Job Description

As part of the Visualization Centre of Excellence (CoE) at Bain Capability Network, you will be working closely with global Bain case teams, Bain Partners, and end-clients to provide data analytics and business intelligence support using advanced data analysis and visualization tools such as SQL, Python, Azure, AWS, Tableau, PowerBI, Alteryx, etc. The CoE serves as a one-stop shop for converting data into insightful visualization tools for various case requests including survey analytics, leadership KPI dashboards, and more.

  • *Key Responsibilities:**
  • Work as part of the customer success team of one of the Bain products, delivering custom insights to users and leading client discovery, solutioning, and demo sessions.
  • Act as an expert on specific platforms/tools/languages (e.g., SQL/Python) to deliver impactful insights individually.
  • Utilize knowledge of data analysis languages (e.g., SQL, Python) to support case teams with KPI analysis and process automation.
  • Assist in client onboarding, training, and implementation in collaboration with internal teams.
  • Translate client use cases into product configurations, feasibility, and value analysis.
  • Troubleshoot data and portal issues, serving as a liaison between clients and product/engineering teams.
  • Ensure high-quality client experience throughout the full lifecycle.
  • Analyze and automate processing of large and complex datasets and processes.
  • Maintain scalable and maintainable data analysis processes and code, preparing documentation for future reference.
  • Deliver client-facing and internal leadership presentations when necessary.
  • Work under the guidance of Team Lead/Manager to drive the team's overall answer, client communication, work planning, and team management.
  • Assign work streams to Analysts, monitor workload, and provide technical expertise when required.
  • Lead client/case team calls, communicate data, knowledge, insights, and actionable next steps to the team, and relay implications to the internal team.
  • *Qualifications Required:**
  • Graduation/Post-graduation from a top-tier college with strong academic records and 3-4 years of relevant work experience in client-facing roles related to consulting, analytics, or SaaS delivery in areas of Data Management, Business Intelligence, or Business Analytics.
  • Minimum 2+ years of experience in Data Analysis and automations using platforms like SQL.
  • Proficiency in SQL, databases (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift), and ticketing systems (Zendesk, JIRA).
  • Advanced skills in Excel modeling and slide-making.
  • Hands-on experience in data handling and complex data analysis.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with technical and non-technical senior stakeholders.
  • Concentration in a quantitative discipline preferred (Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or Market Research).
  • Ability to prioritize projects, manage multiple priorities, and drive projects to completion under tight deadlines.
  • Motivated and collaborative team player with a role-model attitude.
