Frontend Engineer (React)

We’re hiring a full-time Frontend Engineer (React) to build the UI for a mission-critical ERP system at Babco Foods.

This is a serious engineering role — not marketing sites or basic dashboards. You’ll be building systems used daily to run real operations (inventory, logistics, order flow).

Location: India (remote)

Required Core Hours: Monday–Friday, 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 a.m. (New Jersey time)

Experience: 5–10 years

What This Role Requires

• You’ve built complex, data-heavy, applications, not just simple UIs
• You can design frontend architecture — not just implement tickets
• You understand performance, state management, and scalability
• You take ownership and work with minimal supervision

Core Responsibilities

• Build and own large parts of the ERP frontend (React)
• Design scalable component and state architecture
• Coordinate closely with our Frontend Designer on projects that are ready to be deployed by you
• Work directly with backend engineers on API design and data flow
• Improve performance and usability of operational interfaces

Hard Requirements

• Expert-level React (non-negotiable)
• Hands-on experience on React Native APIs, React Flow, ECMAscript (OOJS) and JSX
• Strong JavaScript fundamentals
• Strong knowledge of CSS and animations
• Experience with modern state management (Redux, Zustand, etc.)
• Experience building real-world business systems (ERP, SaaS, internal tools)
• Ability to work independently and think in systems
• Basic knowledge of Firebase services (e.g. Authentication, Push, Notification) is a plus

Strong Plus

• TypeScript
• Experience with data-heavy UIs (tables, workflows, real-time updates)
