Job Summary of the AI/ML Engineer
We are seeking an experienced AI Engineer to join our Center of Excellence team, driving the development and implementation of artificial intelligence and intelligent automation solutions across the organization. This role focuses on designing, building, and deploying AI models and RPA solutions while establishing best practices for AI and automation development.
Requirements of the AI/ML Engineer
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in software development and experience in developing and deploying AI/ML solutions in production environment.
- Strong proficiency in Python and AI frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch)
- Experience with cloud AI platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Experience with RPA platforms (UiPath, Automation Anywhere, or Power Automate)
- Solid understanding of deep learning, neural networks, and AI algorithms
- Experience with AI model deployment and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Knowledge of process automation, workflow design, and business process optimization
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with large language models (LLMs) and generative AI
- Knowledge of AI model monitoring, governance, and responsible AI practices
- Experience with intelligent document processing (IDP) and OCR technologies
- Familiarity with process mining tools and automation analytics
- Experience building real-time AI systems and APIs
- Previous experience in a CoE or platform role
- RPA Developer or AI/ML certifications (UiPath, Automation Anywhere, AWS, Azure)

- Programming: Python, SQL, VB.NET/C#/Java
- AI/Deep Learning: Neural Networks, NLP, Computer Vision, Generative AI
- Frameworks: TensorFlow, PyTorch, OpenAI APIs
- RPA Platforms: UiPath, Automation Anywhere, Power Automate
- AI Platforms: Azure AI, Google AI Platform
- Integration: REST APIs, Webhooks, Message Queues
- Tools: Git, Docker, Kubernetes, Orchestrator
Soft Skills

- Strong communication skills to explain AI and automation concepts to non-technical stakeholders

Responsibilities of the AI/ML Engineer
The specific duties of the AI/ML Engineer include but are not limited to:
AI & RPA Solution Development
- Design, develop, and deploy AI models and RPA solutions to address complex business challenges
- Build and optimize AI pipelines including data preprocessing, model training, and deployment
- Develop and maintain intelligent automation workflows using RPA platforms
- Implement and maintain scalable AI and RPA infrastructure and frameworks
- Integrate AI capabilities with RPA bots for intelligent automation
- Conduct experiments to evaluate AI model and automation performance and implement improvements
Support to set CoE Standards
- Support leadership to establish and maintain AI and RPA best practices, standards, and governance frameworks
- Develop reusable AI and automation components and templates for enterprise-wide use
- Create technical documentation and guidelines for AI and RPA development
- Support to evaluate and recommend new AI, RPA technologies and platforms
- Support to define automation opportunity assessment criteria and prioritization frameworks
Collaboration & Innovation
- Partner with stakeholders to identify automation opportunities and deliver AI-powered solutions
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship on AI and RPA technologies
- Conduct training sessions to build AI and automation capabilities across teams
- Stay current with latest AI, RPA research and industry trends
- Prototype and evaluate emerging technologies including generative AI, LLMs, and document processing (RAG)
