Key Responsibilities for Roofing & Siding Estimator

· Conduct detailed quantity take-offs from blueprints, CAD drawings, and digital plans for various roofing systems (shingles, metal, flat/low-slope, TPO, EPDM, modified bitumen) and siding materials (vinyl, fiber cement, wood, stucco, composite).

· Prepare accurate and competitive bid Estimate for residential and commercial projects across multiple USA markets.

· Perform on-site assessments when required to evaluate existing roof and siding conditions and gather precise field measurements.

· Solicit and analyse material quotes from major manufacturers and suppliers such as GAF, CertainTeed, James Hardie, and Owens Corning.

· Utilize industry-standard estimation software including Xactimate, Eagle View, HOVER, Bluebeam, Sage Estimating, and Plan Swift to generate reports.

· Review and interpret architectural drawings, structural plans, and project specifications to identify potential risks and requirements.

· Track and manage multiple active bids simultaneously, ensuring strict adherence to submission deadlines.

· Stay updated on roofing/siding material trends, product innovations, and regional pricing shifts to maintain competitive advantage.
