Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Amdocs Solution Architect with deep expertise in Telecom BSS, particularly wireless billing systems, to join our team in a hybrid role based in Philadelphia, PA. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience designing enterprise-scale billing solutions, integrating Amdocs APIs, and collaborating across multiple business domains to deliver end-to-end telecom solutions.

This role requires strong architecture, integration, and stakeholder communication skills with the ability to work closely with business teams, domain architects, and development teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and deliver scalable end-to-end solution architectures for Telecom BSS platforms.
• Lead solution architecture activities within the wireless billing domain, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture standards.
• Collaborate with architects across Order Management, Customer Experience, CRM, and Payment domains to develop integrated enterprise solutions.
• Define API integration strategies and solution designs for Amdocs and third-party systems.
• Provide technical leadership during requirements gathering, solution design, implementation, and deployment.
• Review solution designs to ensure scalability, performance, security, and maintainability.
• Work closely with business stakeholders, product owners, and engineering teams throughout the project lifecycle.

Required Qualifications

• 12+ years of IT experience with significant experience in Telecom BSS architecture.
• Proven experience working as a Solution Architect within the Telecommunications industry.
• Strong experience in Wireless Billing/BSS systems.
• Excellent understanding of:

• Payment processing
• Customer billing lifecycle
• Credit management
• Invoice generation
• Account receivables and related billing systems
• Hands-on experience with Amdocs APIs and billing platform integrations.
• Experience designing and integrating APIs supporting:
• Customer APIs
• Order APIs
• Customer Service APIs
• Payment APIs
• Credit APIs
• Invoice APIs
• Billing APIs
• Strong experience in RESTful API architecture and enterprise integration patterns.
• Ability to create architecture diagrams, solution documents, and technical design specifications.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience as a Solution Architect on Amdocs Billing implementations.
• Experience integrating Amdocs Billing with:
• Order Management systems
• CRM platforms
• Customer Experience/UI applications
• Payment gateways
• Enterprise Integration platforms
• Knowledge of cloud-native architecture and microservices.
• Familiarity with enterprise integration technologies such as Kafka, MuleSoft, IBM Integration Bus, or similar middleware platforms.
• Experience working in Agile/SAFe delivery environments.
