As a Litigation Paralegal at Avalara, you will be responsible for the process and intake of subpoenas served on Avalara, including conducting an initial assessment and gathering responsive documents. You will also play a crucial role in maintaining Avalara's trademarks and documentation, managing litigation holds on documents, and conducting an initial review of customer disputes. Additionally, you will track customer bankruptcy filings, prepare draft Proofs of Claim, and monitor bankruptcy court dockets to identify relevant pleadings. Your duties will also include maintaining a repository of litigation pleadings and assisting attorneys with miscellaneous administrative tasks such as coordinating signatures on documents.

Qualifications Required:

• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Outlook, Google Drive, Adobe Pro, and DocuSign
• Experience with Jira
• Excellent project management skills with the ability to lead multiple initiatives simultaneously with close attention to detail
• Familiarity with the U.S. legal system is a plus
