Job Description

Experienced Data Engineer to support the Listings & Sales domain, with a strong focus on eventdriven data ingestion, streaming pipelines, and AWSbased architectures. This role will contribute to both daytoday delivery and longerterm strategic initiatives, including mass data onboarding frameworks and scalable ingestion platforms.

The ideal candidate is handson, deliveryfocused, and comfortable working in a fastmoving environment with evolving requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain eventdriven data ingestion pipelines supporting listings and sales data.
  • Develop and support AWSnative data solutions, including serverless and streaming architectures.
  • Implement ingestion and transformation logic using Python and Stored Procedures.
  • Build and support Lambdabased ingestion workflows and integrate with downstream data platforms.
  • Work with structured and semistructured data from multiple source systems.
  • Collaborate with product, analytics, and platform teams to deliver reliable data solutions.
  • Ensure data pipelines are scalable, maintainable, and productionready.
  • Support initiatives related to mass data onboarding, including lowtouch ingestion patterns.
  • Participate in code reviews, testing, and production support activities.
  • Contribute to documentation, operational readiness, and knowledge sharing.

Required Skills & Experience

Core Technical Skills

  • Strong Python experience for data engineering and pipeline development.
  • Solid SQL Stored Procedure skills applied across analytical and operational workloads.
  • AWS expertise, including:
  • AWS Lambda
  • Eventdriven / serverless architectures
  • Experience working with streaming or nearrealtime ingestion patterns
  • Experience designing and operating data pipelines on a scale.
  • Familiarity with data ingestion patterns using files, APIs, or events.
  • Strong understanding of data reliability, validation, and monitoring concepts.

Desirable Skills (Nice to Have)

  • Experience with AWS data services such as:
  • DynamoDB
  • S3
  • Event Bridge / SNS / SQS
  • Exposure to streaming technologies or patterns (realtime or microbatch).
  • Experience working in complex enterprise data environments.
  • Understanding data governance, security, and compliance principles.
  • Prior experience in property, listings, sales, or customer data domains.
