Job Summary
Join our dynamic team as an Electrical Apprentice specializing in Data Center projects for Amazon AWS! Duties
- Support the installation and wiring of electrical systems using hand tools and power tools on construction sites dedicated to data center infrastructure
- Support the installation of Cabinet and Power Panel Installations
- Suupport the installation of cable tray installation and large feeder pulls.
- Support the installation of Cat5/6
- Assist with reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate installation and troubleshooting
- Help with the setup of low voltage and high voltage electrical systems following NEC standards and safety protocols
- Use testing equipment such as ohmmeters to diagnose electrical issues and verify circuit integrity
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment by properly handling tools like screwdrivers, wire strippers, drills, and frame carpentry tools
- Collaborate with team members to ensure construction progress aligns with project timelines and safety regulations
- Participate in safety meetings and adhere strictly to construction site safety procedures
Experience
- Hands-on experience using hand tools, power tools, and electrical testing equipment such as ohmmeters
- Familiarity with blueprint reading, schematics, and understanding of NEC (National Electrical Code) standards
- Construction site experience working on large-scale projects like data centers or similar facilities
- Knowledge of low voltage and high voltage electrical systems is a plus
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment while maintaining safety standards
- Basic understanding of frame carpentry or related construction skills is advantageous
