Job description

This position requires office presence of a minimum of 5 days per week and is only located at customer's site.

Our Department of State (DOS) Team supports the DOS ITL mission by providing day-to-day and critical telecommunications systems and services.

Job Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Shall work full-time at DOS and provide remote engineering, maintenance and technical assistance for all telephone and telecommunication systems in DOS locations.
  • Shall configure, install and perform maintenance on DOS call accounting and threat recorders and install and maintain call accounting programs on DOS Personal Computers (PC).
  • Shall evaluate new products for use in DOS telephone and telecommunication systems.
  • Shall establish and maintain a repair and return system to support defective system components returned from locations and assist in the installation/repair of Private Branch Exchange (PBX) and telecommunication systems as necessary
  • Work may involve immediate action to restore service, failure-point isolation and resolution, or technical assistance via a remote connection to the system.

Top Secret (#topsecret)

Required Qualifications:

10 years of progressive systems, security, and telecommunications experience, 8 years of experience working in/leading an IT enterprise engineering team for a Federal Agency, 3 years of experience integrating new telecommunications technology into Federal Gov enterprise level networks. 1 years' experience preforming, documenting, and support Federal security ATTs/ATOs and POAMS.

Desired Qualifications:

Proven experience/work within the DOS at the enterprise level, 5 years of complex systems integration leveraging voice and data over a world-wide Federal enterprise network, CCNA or CCNP certification.
