• Provide temporary solution or a permanent solution to the incident which eliminates the root cause of the incident
• Documenting and Reporting
• For a Priority 1 or Priority 2 Incident

• Weekend on-call support
• Mainframe Platform - exposure to tools / products like JCL
• PROCS
• TSO
• ISPF
• z/OS
• IBM utilities
• Exposure on Cobol and SAS programming
• Mainframe data structures
• ability to extract / manipulate data (use of VSAM
• DB2)
• SAS technology - Data review
• coding SAS scripts and extracting reports
• Experience of working in a client support role
• Worked on support projects and resolved tickets within agreed Service Level Agreements
• Providing production support to applications running on Mainframes and handling job abends
