Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Backend Developer with strong expertise in TypeScript and Node.js to design, develop, and deploy scalable backend services and APIs. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with Solution Architects and engineering teams to implement modern architectural patterns and deliver high-quality, resilient systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and deploy high-quality backend services and RESTful APIs using TypeScript.
• Collaborate with Solution Architects to implement modern architectural patterns such as:
• Hexagonal Architecture
• Microservices
• Event-Driven Design
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following coding standards and best practices.
• Design and build scalable, resilient, and high-performance backend systems.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
• Troubleshoot and debug complex issues in development and production environments.
• Deploy and manage services on cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Create and maintain technical documentation.
• Stay current with emerging backend technologies, especially within the TypeScript ecosystem.

Essential Skills (Must Have)

• 5+ years of professional experience in backend development.
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript, including advanced type system features.
• Hands‑on experience with Node.js and frameworks such as Express or NestJS.
• Proven experience designing and building RESTful APIs.
• Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Understanding of modern architecture patterns (microservices, event‑driven systems).
• Experience with version control systems (Git).
• Strong problem‑solving and debugging skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Good to Have Skills

• Infrastructure‑as‑Code experience (Terraform, CloudFormation).
• CI/CD pipeline implementation and best practices.
• Containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Asynchronous messaging systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ).
• Experience with GraphQL.
• Understanding of DevSecOps principles.
• Familiarity with frontend technologies for integration purposes.
