Role Description
We’re looking for an experienced and proactive Public Relations Specialist who knows how to get great brands into the right hands. You’ll work directly with founders and growing businesses to land meaningful visibility; think speaking engagements, strategic brand moments, podcast features and media coverage that actually move the needle.
This isn’t traditional PR. You’ll be part strategist, part storyteller and part connector, owning outreach, crafting compelling angles and spotting opportunities others miss. If you’re someone who already has a pulse on what’s trending, knows how to get through the door, and loves building buzz around ambitious brands - you’ll fit right in.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute tailored PR strategies
- Adapt content to different brand voices and audiences
- Proactively pitch and secure high-impact visibility opportunities
- Craft compelling founder-led narratives, pitches and press materials
- Identify timely opportunities and strategic moments to position clients as industry experts
- Build and nurture strong relationships
- Track, measure, and report on PR wins and performance; adjust content based on insights
- Collaborate with internal team members as needed
Qualifications
- 5+ years in public relations (or similar role)
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple clients
- Strong storytelling skills with the ability to translate a founder’s voice into compelling narratives
- Proven track record of securing opportunities
- Self-starter who thrives in a remote, fast-paced environment
- Confident communicator with strong relationship-building skills
- Comfortable working closely with founders and adapting to different brand voices
- Understanding of how PR integrates with social media and content strategy
Bonus Points
- Experience working within an agency or with multiple clients
- Experience supporting founders and C-level executives
- Existing media contacts/relationships
- Experience with personal branding
- Familiarity with digital and in-person media, podcasts, and creator partnerships
