As a fully remote and innovative company, we are seeking an Inside Sales Representative who is passionate about customer satisfaction and driving long-term client success.
Job Summary
As a (SLED) Sales Representative specializing in SaaS, you will drive new business opportunities and expand our customer base. You will engage prospects, identify their needs, and present tailored solutions that address their business challenges. The ideal candidate has 2–5 years of SaaS sales experience, with a specific background in selling to the SLED (State, Local, and Education) market. We are looking for a professional with a proven track record of exceeding sales targets and the ability to build strong, long-term client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Prospecting & Lead Generation – Identify and target potential clients through outbound calls, emails, social media, and networking events. Maintain a robust pipeline of qualified leads.
- Sales Presentations & Demonstrations – Conduct product demos and presentations to showcase the value of Asset Panda's SaaS solutions, customizing them to client-specific needs.
- Consultative Selling – Understand prospects’ business objectives, challenges, and pain points, offering tailored SaaS solutions that align with their goals.
- Relationship Management – Develop and nurture long-term relationships with clients, acting as a trusted advisor throughout the sales process.
- Negotiation & Closing – Lead negotiations, close deals, and ensure all terms and conditions are agreed upon. Manage the full sales cycle from initial contact to contract signing.
- Market Research – Stay informed about industry trends, competitors, and emerging technologies to refine sales strategies and identify new opportunities.
- CRM Management – Maintain accurate sales records, client interactions, and pipeline status in the CRM system (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot). Generate reports and analyze sales metrics.
- Cross-Department Collaboration – Work closely with marketing, customer success, and product teams to improve the client experience and provide feedback for product enhancements.
Qualifications
- Experience – 2-5 years of proven SaaS sales experience with a strong track record of exceeding sales targets.
- Experience - 1-3 years of selling and prospecting into State, Local, and Education agencies (SLED) with a proven track record.
- Technical Knowledge – Solid understanding of SaaS products, cloud computing, and subscription-based models. Ability to learn and convey complex technical concepts quickly.
- Sales Skills – Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills with the ability to build rapport and influence decision-makers.
- Customer Focus – A customer-centric mindset with the ability to address concerns and deliver exceptional value.
- Analytical Abilities – Experience with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and the ability to analyze sales metrics.
- Education – Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field (preferred but not required).
- Personal Traits – Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently as well as part of a team. Adaptable and resilient in a fast-paced environment.
