How You’ll Contribute
As the Content & Product Marketing Manager at Assemble, you will play a central role in building the next version of our marketing engine across our communities and events. This role sits at the intersection of content marketing and product marketing — translating customer insight, member needs, market themes, and sales feedback into sharper messaging and stronger marketing assets.
Assemble has rich source material across members, customers, events, webinars, and research. The opportunity is to make that material work harder — transforming it into campaign-ready messaging and sales-ready assets that create and convert demand.
You'll partner closely with Demand Generation, Sales, Membership, Enablement, Design, Video, and our editorial Content team to deliver content across campaigns, webinars, landing pages, customer stories, sales enablement, and expansion motions. This is a hands-on role on a lean team — you'll do the work while also building the repeatable systems, standards, and workflows that let us produce better content with more speed and scale over time. This role also requires strong cross-functional collaboration and the skills to quarterback initiatives companywide. You are a strong writer, editor, and commercial thinker who can take complex ideas and turn them into clear, compelling messaging for executive and professional audiences.
Success in this role means strengthening our positioning, improving campaign performance, enabling sales, and building a repeatable content engine that supports demand generation, customer expansion, and long-term growth.
In this role you will:
- Partner with the Demand Generation Manager to develop campaign messaging and create content across email, landing pages, webinars, social media, video, and sales enablement assets.
- Develop compelling product positioning, value propositions, and messaging for communities, events, councils, summits, and growth initiatives.
- Own the content calendar and lead the planning, creation, distribution, and optimization of content across key marketing channels.
- Translate customer, member, market, and sales insights into impactful marketing campaigns, customer stories, and thought leadership content.
- Build scalable content programs by repurposing webinars, events, research, customer interviews, and community discussions into high-value marketing assets.
- Partner with Sales, Membership, and Enablement teams to create content that supports customer acquisition, renewals, expansion, and sales effectiveness.
- Establish efficient content operations, including editorial standards, content briefs, workflows, templates, AI-assisted processes, and asset management.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Demand Generation, Editorial, Sales, Membership, Design, Video, and Account Coordination teams to deliver high-quality, results-driven marketing content.
- Measure content performance and use campaign insights and analytics to continuously improve messaging, engagement, and conversion.
What Sets You Up for Success
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, Communications, Journalism, English, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in B2B content marketing, product marketing, growth marketing, or demand generation.
- Exceptional writing and editing skills, with the ability to craft compelling content for professional and executive audiences.
- Experience developing content across multiple formats, including email campaigns, landing pages, webinars, social media, customer stories, sales collateral, and video briefs.
- Strong understanding of product positioning, messaging, value propositions, persona development, and sales enablement.
- Proven ability to translate customer, market, and sales insights into engaging, high-impact content.
- Knowledge of SEO, content optimization, and digital marketing best practices, with experience using performance data to improve campaign results.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams.
- Experience working with designers, video producers, freelancers, and other creative partners to deliver high-quality content.
- Comfortable leveraging AI and modern content tools to improve productivity, consistency, and content reuse.
- Thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative, and growth-oriented environment.
