The Aspen Films team is spread from coast-to-coast and we work with some of the largest and most recognizable organizations in Canada. Our projects include documentaries, corporate communication pieces, marketing content, event content and much more. We don’t do weddings, funerals, or other similar projects; rather, our work is in the business-to-business space, and we are the only truly national corporate video production company in Canada.

Job Description

Aspen Films is seeking applications from qualified individuals to fill a full-time Production Manager position in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan.

  • This position will work out of the Aspen Films Warman office location
  • Production Manager Duties include:
  • Project Management
  • Pre-production planning, creative, client interactions, some aspects of a producer-type role
  • Filming (interview,b-roll, aerial, event)
  • Basic event photography
  • Other production tasks
  • Editing
  • Other post-production tasks
  • Sometimes leading a crew
  • Managing and scheduling subcontractors when necessary
  • This position is a full-time, salaried, management position
  • Generally, a Monday-Friday, office hours type work schedule
  • Due to the nature of video production, flexibility will be required on some evenings and weekends
  • Provision of full Aspen gear-kit for use after 3 months full-time

Requirements

  • Ideally, 3-5 years of experience in the industry working in both production and post-production capacities, such as weddings, corporate video productions, etc.
  • Advanced drone operator license will be considered a strong asset

Compensation

  • Competitive Salary (Starting salary will vary depending on experience)
  • Work-related travel reimbursement/or transportation supplied (car rental, flights, hotel, etc.)
  • 3 weeks paid vacation/year
