Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Sales Engineer – DG Sets (Diesel Generators) role based in Kolkata (West Bengal) , Karnal (Haryana) and Haldwani (Uttarakhand). The Sales Engineer will identify and pursue sales opportunities for diesel generator sets, engage with prospective and existing customers, and prepare technical and commercial proposals. Daily responsibilities include understanding customer power requirements, recommending suitable DG configurations, conducting product presentations and site visits, and coordinating with internal technical teams for solution design. The role involves supporting customers with pre-sales and post-sales technical queries, ensuring timely responses, and maintaining accurate records of leads, quotes, and orders. The Sales Engineer will also track market trends, competitor activity, and contribute to achieving sales targets while delivering reliable customer service.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Sales Engineering skills, including DG sets sizing, technical evaluation, and solution design.
