Job Description
As an Account Executive at Ascendion, your primary role will be to drive business development initiatives and strategize to target prospective clients and customers. You will play a pivotal role in the success of the organization by driving revenue through client referrals, network expansion, and proactive engagement. Your responsibilities will include:
- Developing and maintaining strong relationships with existing clients, serving as their primary point of contact
- Identifying new sales opportunities within existing accounts and pursuing leads to expand business
- Conducting regular meetings and presentations to understand client needs and propose solutions
- Collaborating with internal teams and external stakeholders including sales and marketing to ensure client needs are effectively met
- Negotiating contracts and pricing agreements with vendor partners to secure profitable deals
- Providing exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries and resolving issues promptly
- Tracking sales performance metrics and preparing regular reports for management review
- Attending industry events, conferences, and networking functions to build relationships and promote products and services
Qualifications required for this role include:
- Bachelors degree in business administration, Marketing, or related field
- Proven experience in sales, account management, or a related role
- Strong sales aptitude with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strategic thinker with the ability to identify opportunities and develop effective sales strategies
- Strong negotiation skills and ability to close deals
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
In addition to the qualifications, you will need exceptional communication skills, persuasive and goal-oriented mindset, ability to thrive under pressure, and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite applications. Previous experience in lead generation and prospect management is highly desirable, and prior experience in inside sales or related roles is preferred.
