.NET/C# Developer (Azure API)

Location: Remote at Washington, DC

Duration: 12 months

Day-to-day Responsibilities:

• Implement and migrate legacy API code to a modern Azure-based API solution.
• Handle development, code migration/transformation, testing, and deployment.
• Document existing code and infrastructure.
• Communicate progress, risks, and blockers with stakeholders and team.
• Guide junior developers.
• Collaborate with the architecture team to select appropriate Azure components for optimal solution design.

Required Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 5 years of experience in API design and development, with at least 3 years in Azure integration technologies.
• Hands-on expertise in Azure API Management (APIM), Azure Service Bus, Event Grid, Logic Apps, Functions, RESTFUL API Design.
• Strong understanding of integration patterns (synchronous, asynchronous, pub/sub, event-driven, microservices).
• Proficiency in .Net Core, C#, PowerShell, Docker, Kubernetes/AKS.
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate.

Preferred Skills:

• Azure DevOps

• B.S. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or equivalent
