Job description

Following the acquisition of Botter by the private equity group Clessidra, and the subsequent integration of Mondodelvino, Argea was established in 2022. Since March 2023, the Group has further expanded by welcoming the winemaking heritage of Cantina Zaccagnini.

The Group brings together different companies within a shared project based on quality, development, and sustainability, with the goal of involving leading players in the Italian wine industry, along with their respective cultures, people, territories, and production techniques, while at the same time enhancing and preserving their identities as expressions of the finest tradition.

Argea was founded with the ambition of becoming the accelerator of the Italian wine ecosystem worldwide, combining expertise in the production of DOC and DOCG wines with their commercialization in international markets, while also promoting a culture of sustainable development among the producers and people it works with.

Posizione:

The candidate will support the development of the US market, working closely with the international sales team and local partners. The role focuses on business development, account management, and execution of commercial activities aimed at strengthening the company’s presence and sales performance in the region.

Mission: contribute to the growth of the US business by developing relationships with distributors, customers, and key market stakeholders, while supporting the implementation of the company’s commercial strategy and ensuring alignment with corporate objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the execution of the commercial strategy for the US market, in line with company guidelines and local market needs.
  • Manage and develop relationships with distributors, agents, and key customers.
  • Identify new business opportunities and contribute to market expansion initiatives.
  • Monitor sales performance, market trends, and competitor activities, providing regular feedback to management.
  • Collaborate with internal departments (marketing, customer service, operations) to ensure effective execution of commercial activities.
  • Participate in trade fairs, customer visits, and industry events in the assigned market.
  • Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and commercial updates for management.

Requisiti:

  • 2–5 years of experience in sales, export, or international business development roles.
  • Exposure to the US market is considered a strong plus.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Proactive attitude with willingness to travel internationally.
  • Good analytical and organizational skills.
  • Fluent in English and good proficiency in Italian, additional languages are a plus.
  • Degree in Business, Economics, International Trade, or related fields preferred.

Salary package: 90.000 -100.000 USD, health insurance, budget expenses TBD
