Job Summary

The Security Guard is responsible for ensuring the safety and security of the store premises, employees, customers, merchandise, and company assets. The role involves monitoring store activities, preventing theft, maintaining order, and responding promptly to security-related incidents during assigned day or night shifts.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and control the entry and exit of employees, customers, vendors, and visitors.
• Conduct regular patrols of the store premises and surrounding areas during assigned shifts.
• Prevent theft, shoplifting, vandalism, and unauthorized access to restricted areas.
• Monitor CCTV cameras and report any suspicious activities immediately.
• Verify and record visitor and vendor details as per company procedures.
• Ensure the security of store assets, inventory, equipment, and cash collection areas.
• Assist in emergency situations such as fire alarms, medical emergencies, accidents, or security breaches.
• Prepare and maintain daily security logs, incident reports, and visitor records.
• Coordinate with store management regarding security concerns and incidents.
• Ensure compliance with company safety and security policies.
• Support crowd management during peak business hours, promotions, and special events.
• Check bags, parcels, and delivery items when required as per company policy.
• For night shifts, ensure proper locking and unlocking of the premises as per operational requirements.
• Monitor the premises after business hours and immediately report any unusual activity or security concerns.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Educational qualification is optional.
• Prior experience as a Security Guard in retail, commercial, residential, or corporate environments is preferred.
• Basic knowledge of security procedures and emergency response protocols.
• Ability to remain alert, vigilant, and professional at all times.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Physically fit and capable of standing or patrolling for extended periods.

Working Conditions

• Rotational day and night shifts, including weekends and holidays, as required.
• Indoor and outdoor security monitoring duties.
• May be required to work extended hours during emergencies or special events.

Reporting To

Store Manager / Administration Manager

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹24,000.00 per month
