As an IP Paralegal at Applied Materials, Inc., you will play a crucial role in supporting all aspects of patent administration and assisting IP counsel with various projects on behalf of the Legal and Compliance Organization (LCO).
- *Key Responsibilities:**
- Prepare and review legal documents related to patents, trademarks, contracts, and other corporate matters
- Maintain and organize general legal and patent files
- Conduct legal research on patent, trademark, corporate, and other legal matters
- Work with and manage legal databases for patents, trademarks, contracts, and other legal documents
- Analyze data related to legal matters and generate reports
- Assist in filing legal documents in response to legal matters or proceedings
- Support invention disclosure processes and ensure adherence to target cycle times
- Provide advice to business stakeholders on legal matters
- Uphold the integrity of data systems such as patent docketing systems
- *Qualifications:**
- Bachelor's degree or above
- Minimum 5 years of experience in roles related to invoice review/management, paralegal, or legal analyst in multi-national corporations
- Experience as a patent prosecution paralegal and in patent docketing
- *Skills And Attributes:**
- Excellent communication and project management skills
- Strong work ethic and self-starter mentality
- Customer-oriented and ability to work in cross-functional and global environments
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel, with keen attention to detail
