Senior IT Auditor

I'm currently recruiting for a Senior IT Auditor to join a global technology and manufacturing organization. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a highly visible role, partnering with IT, cybersecurity, and business leaders to strengthen internal controls, manage technology risk, and support compliance initiatives across a global environment.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead and execute IT audits, ITGC reviews, SOX testing, operational audits, and risk assessments across multiple business units.
• Evaluate the design and effectiveness of IT controls, cybersecurity controls, governance processes, and compliance programs.
• Assess technology, cybersecurity, and business process risks, identifying control gaps and opportunities for improvement.
• Review key IT processes including user access management, change management, system security, and IT operations.
• Support cybersecurity initiatives, security investigations, vulnerability assessments, and risk mitigation activities.
• Develop audit documentation, prepare reports, communicate findings to management, and monitor remediation efforts through completion.
• Partner with business and technology stakeholders globally to promote strong governance, compliance, and continuous improvement.

Ideal background:

• 3–5 years of experience in IT Audit, Information Security, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
• Strong experience with ITGCs, ITACs, SOX compliance testing, operational audits, and risk-based auditing.
• Knowledge of information security frameworks, IT risk management, cybersecurity controls, and regulatory compliance requirements.
• Understanding of enterprise systems, networks, infrastructure, data centres, and security technologies.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
• CISA, CISSP, or similar certification is considered an asset.
