How You’ll Help Us Connect The World

As a Project Manager (PJM), you will lead cross-functional product development and engineering projects from concept through design, validation, pilot build and production launch as part of the Product Development Process (PDP) within the Structures and Connectivity Division. You will be responsible for ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, budget and quality objectives while meeting business and customer commitments. You will take strong ownership of project planning, schedule management, stakeholder alignment, risk management and disciplined project execution using established project management best practices.

This role is based in Goa, India and will report to the Manager, Global Projects.

• Demonstrating strong ownership and accountability for project execution from concept through production launch.
• Leading, influencing, and coordinating cross-functional teams within a global matrix organization.
• Applying disciplined project management practices across project scope, schedule, cost, quality, risk, and stakeholder management.
• Driving milestone adherence, proactive risk mitigation and timely issue resolution to improve execution and accelerate time-to-market.
• Building collaborative relationships across functions, cultures, and geographic regions while effectively communicating with technical teams, business stakeholders and leadership.
• Building strong relationships with project stakeholders by providing regular project status, key performance metrics, schedule updates, risk summaries, mitigation plans and executive-level communications.

Required Qualifications For Consideration

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Telecommunications Engineering or a related Engineering discipline.
• 8 to 10 years of experience in Project Management or Program Management within a product development, engineering or manufacturing environment.
• Minimum 5 years of experience leading cross-functional product development projects from concept through production launch.
• PMP (Project Management Professional) certification is required.
• Proven experience leading cross-functional teams within a global matrix organization.
• Strong knowledge of Product Development Processes (PDP), Stage-Gate methodology, project governance, project lifecycle management, risk management, schedule management and stakeholder management.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Project, Project Web App (PWA), Microsoft Office applications and project reporting tools.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders across functions, cultures and time zones.
• Ability to manage competing priorities, resolve issues, escalate risks appropriately and make timely business decisions in a fast-paced environment.

You Will Excite Us If You

• Are a Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or have an equivalent Agile certification.
• Have experience managing projects within telecommunications, automotive, industrial or manufacturing product development environments.
• Have experience leading global, cross-functional product development programs involving Engineering, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Quality and NPI teams.
• Are Formal trained or certified in Microsoft Project, Project Online or Project Web App (PWA).
• Hold additional certifications such as PMI-ACP or PRINCE2.
